OFF-ISLAND EXHIBITORS
InvitationOn behalf of the Board of Directors of the Agriculture and Food Fair of the U. S. Virgin Islands you are cordially invited to the 39th Annual Agriculture and Food Fair of the U. S. Virgin Islands, to be held February 13-15, 2010 at the Rudolph Schulterbrandt Agricultural Complex in St. Croix. The theme for the Fair is "Healthy Food & a Safe Environment Make Sen$e".
The Annual Agriculture and Food Fair (Agrifest) is the main venue where agriculture, arts, crafts, and cultural activities are showcased for the benefit of all residents and visitors.
Many Caribbean countries — to include Antigua and Barbuda, the British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Guyana, Grenada, Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, St. Thomas, and St. Vincent and The Grenadines — are regular participants at Agrifest. It is an ideal occasion for fairgoers to be exposed to the various agricultural and craft products that are grown and manufactured in the Caribbean. It also can provide great opportunities for collaborative efforts between the Virgin Islands and other Caribbean countries. This year the Minister of Agriculture of Dominica will be visiting the Agrifest.
Hotel reservations should be made as early as possible, as during the weekend of the fair rooms are usually filled early.
