The fairgrounds are named in honor of Otis Hicks, a former board member of AgriFest.
The Food Pavilion is named in honor of La Verne Y. Bates a baker and local candy-maker.
The Farmer’s Market is named in honor of Aberra Bulbulla, a St. Croix farmer.
The Livestock Pavilion is name in honor of Dr. Duke Deller, a veterinarian and former employee of the V.I. Department of Agriculture.
What’s Interesting/New:
We do have Entertainment and Youth activities planned for all three days. Additionally, we’ll have animal demonstrations, which will include snake handling (and other demonstrations which will be announced at a later date).

Off-island Participants:
Which islands/nations are participating in this year’s event? In addition to participants from all three Virgin Islands, we will be joined by guests from Guyana, British Virgin Islands, St. Lucia, Antigua and Barbuda, Puerto Rico, Grenada and St. Kitts & Nevis.
Our off-island participants may only commence sales on Sunday and Monday (sales are not allowed on the first day, Saturday).
Transportation.
Ferry Service. Ferry service will be available between St. Thomas and St. Croix and the Fair board currently is negotiating for additional service during the weekend. This complements the service provided by our current airline partners.
We also will be working with VITRAN to coordinate transportation during fair days, particularly in and around the Gallows Bay area for our ferry passengers.
Kalalloo.com will broadcast live from the fairgrounds every day.
Vendors:
Five Crop Exhibit spaces left, contact Errol Chichester at 778-0998. All other categories are currently filled and we do not allow roaming/itinerant vendors.
Vendors are not allowed to set-up around the perimeter of the Fair (extending east/west to the Complex and Paradise traffic lights and north/south to the church corner to the Queen Mary Highway.

To attend to the travel needs of all passengers traveling between St Thomas and St Croix for the weekend of Ag Fair, VI Sea Trans has added additional routes for the weekend of February 12-15th. Reservations are mandatory. To book, purchase your tickets before February 8th. $95 Per Adult. Includes roundtrip Ferry and shuttle service from ferry docks to Fair Grounds.

NO SERVICE UNTIL FEBRUARY 12TH
*There will be No Service until February 12th. Please be advised that due to our Annual US Coast Guard Dry Dock inspection there will be No Service on the weekend of February 5th.
