YOUTH ACTIVITIES

The Ag Fair POETRY Contest

Open to all children or students from the fourth through the twelfth grades, original poetry submissions should illustrate the fair theme: "The Business of Agriculture: The Way Forward." Entries should be submitted on 8½" x 11" white paper. All entries must be typewritten, single or double-spaced and be limited to one (1) page.

Poems will be judged on depiction of the fair theme, and content and grammar. Special emphasis will be placed on originality and creativity of the entry. Winning entries will be prominently displayed at the fair.
